Early Career Dietitian Award

The purpose of this award is to encourage early career members of the profession to join and actively participate in Dietitians Australia's activities and to foster future leaders.  It recognises service and excellence.

This award honours the memory of the late Dr Joan Woodhill OBE who was the first dietitian trained in New South Wales and who made an outstanding contribution to the profession at state level, nationally and internationally.

Eligibility

Nominees must:

  • be a member of Dietitians Australia for at least 3 years,
  • have graduated from their dietetics degree less than 10 years ago (Note: Consideration will be made for members who have taken parental or carers’ leave during this time), and
  • not have been a previous recipient of this award (previously known as the Young Achiever Award).
